Alex Maloney To Depart as Group Chief Underwriting Officer
Lancashire Holdings, a Bermuda-based property and casualty insurer, has announced that Alex Maloney will be stepping down from his role as Group Chief Underwriting Officer.
Maloney's departure comes as the company reports a strong financial performance for the first half of 2024. Lancashire's gross written premium (GWP) increased by 83% to over $128 billion during the period.
The company's post-tax profits also increased by 25% compared to the previous year, reaching $201 million.
Lancashire did not provide any specific reasons for Maloney's departure, but the company thanked him for his contributions and wished him well in his future endeavors.
