In 2024, Brazil's poultry meat exports are poised to reach new heights. Forecasts predict a significant increase in production to 520mmt, followed by a further 1% growth to 525mmt. This expansion solidifies Brazil's position as a global leader in poultry meat exports.
Pork Exports Surge
Brazil's pork industry is also experiencing remarkable growth. The Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA) forecasts that by the end of 2024, pork exports will hit record levels. January 2023 saw a surge in pork exports, reflecting the industry's resilience and continued expansion.
In July 2023, Brazil's pork exports grew by an impressive 9.3%, totaling 105,300 tons. China remains the largest importer of Brazilian pork, highlighting the country's dominant role in the global pork market.
