Adam Schiff Calls for Biden to Drop Reelection Bid

Schiff: Biden 'No Longer Fit to Serve'
Washington, D.C. - Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA), a top House Democrat running for Senate, has publicly called on President Biden to end his reelection bid. In an interview with The Los Angeles Times, Schiff expressed "serious concerns" about Biden's ability to serve as president.
"I have always believed that President Biden is a good man with a good heart," Schiff said. "However, I no longer believe he is fit to serve as president of the United States. His declining mental acuity, lack of leadership, and inability to articulate a clear vision for the country have convinced me that he should step aside and allow a new generation of Democrats to lead our party and our nation."
Schiff's comments come as a surprise to many, as he has been a staunch supporter of Biden in the past. However, Schiff said that recent events have caused him to reconsider his position.
"I have watched with growing alarm as President Biden has failed to adequately address the challenges facing our country," Schiff said. "He has been unable to unite the country or heal the wounds of division. He has allowed inflation to spiral out of control and has failed to take meaningful action on climate change. I believe that a new generation of leadership is needed to address these challenges and lead our country into a brighter future."
